While India celebrates August 29 as the National Sports Day, everyone is also excited about some Top Bollyood Superstats venuring into projects which are based on sports and today, we are listing down those upcoming films namely:


Ajay Devgan (Maidaan)

Ajay Devgn, will enact football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in Maidaan, which is directed by Amit Sharma and is slated to release in 2020.


Ranveer Singh (83)

In one of the most awaited movies which was promoted by Ranveer Singh himself during this year's World Cup, Ranveer will seen playing the legendary cricketer Kapil Devl who won for the first time Cricket World Cup for India. While many people contemplated whether Ranveer can look like Kapil but this picture will blow your mind how the actor has stepped into Kapil's shoes. As we learnt, Ranveer spent 10 full days with Kapil Dev trying to learn about his life and mannerisms followed by a bootcamp at Mohali.


John Abraham (The Isle of Man)

John Abraham took his love for bikes to the next level when he announced his next silver screen project with director Rensil D’silva. Being passionate motorbikes, the actor is already practicing the game in Bennetts Trackday Brands Hatch in The Isle of Man, UK.


Parineeti Chopra (Saina)

After Shraddha Kapoor bowed out of the film, Parineeti Chopra took it upon herself to ace the part. After toiling for months, the actress will finally meet Saina herself for a final round of perfecting the moves before the film goes on floors in October. The actress has been working out even while in London to ensure her agility isn’t compromised and she is in top of her game when she starts shoot.


As we also know that Shradhha Kapoor had spent lot of time with Saina, we are still thinking if Parineet should have been casted over Shraddha as the below picture will boggle your mind with so much similarities betweent the 2 leading ladies.


On being asked about stepping into Saina's shoes, Parineeti said, "It's a part of my personality, but as an actress, one that I have not explored so far. I'm delighted to get an opportunity to portray a strong and powerful girl like Saina who put our country on the world map. I am excited to put in all the training and hard work that comes with learning the game and portraying Saina on screen."
