Priyanka celebrates Republic Day: Acknowledged women who helped drafting the Indian Constitution

Priyanka Chopra took to social media and celebrated Indian Republic Day by acknowledging 15 women who worked in the first Constituent Assembly of India and helped in drafting the Indian Constitution.


On the 72nd Republic Day, Priyanka Jonas took to Instagram and shared the photos of these 15 women and talked about women in governance. Priyanka played an Instagram trivia, sharing her views on those women.



On Stephen Colbert’s show, Priyanka discussed Kamala Harris, USA's currently elected first Vise President. She talked about how India goes long back to having female politicians and welcomed the USA to the club. She said, “It was such an emotional moment for a lot of my friends and family but coming from a country like India which has seen several women in governance, from Prime Minister to Presidents. 


Priyanka is currently working on her book and memoir named 'Unfinished' which is to release in February.
