Parineeti Chopra, after a year gap, is back with a bang with 3 amazing lead roles in 2021!

 

'The girl on the train' is her latest and first Netflix film where she is playing a challenging lead role of a girl suffering with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). The film also features Aditi Rao Hydari and Kirti Kulhari.

'The girl on the train' is based on an English Novel of the same name, written by paula Hawkins. In the Hollywood version of the film, the lead character is played by Emily Blunt.

Parineeti Recently revealed that she signed the film because she felt a personal connecrtion with a song of the film. 'Chal Gaya Chalaa'.

The Netflix film is set to release this month, on 26th February, 2021.

 

 

Her second upcoming film ' Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar' is undergoing its post-production process. It is a unique dark comedy, featuring Parineeti and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles.

Written by Dibakar Banerjee and Varun Grover, the film is shot around Indo-Nepal border. The release of 'Sandeep aur Pinki Faraar' got delayed due to COVID-19 Pandemic and is set to release in theaters, soon this year!

 

Parineeti is currently shooting another highly awaited Film 'Saina', a bigraphical sports film, where she is playing the lead role of Badminton Player Saina Nehwal.

Saina shared a BTS still and a scene from the shoot and calls Parineeti, her lookalike.
